The greatest blind spot of engineers is assuming that what is technically flawless will automatically align with human nature; design thinking is an architecture of empathy that places the human, not the machine, at the center.

Eighty percent of products created behind a desk are rejected in the field because companies solve their "assumed problem" rather than the "customer's real problem." Design Thinking is an analytical process that shatters this arrogance. It consists of the cycle: Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Test. This methodology aims to dig up and reveal the pain points that even the user is unaware of.

The most critical weapon in this cycle is "Rapid Prototyping." The goal of a prototype is not to showcase a "finished product," but to prove the absurdity of an idea as cheaply and quickly as possible. These drafts—made of cardboard, from a 3D printer, or as a simple clickable interface—shatter all engineering assumptions the second they come into contact with the customer, correcting the course. The rule of "fail fast, learn cheap" applies here.
